This anthology compiles 50 award-winning projects, from 19 European countries, which are a part of Europe’s industrial and engineering heritage: windmills, watermills, granaries, factories, mining sites and quarries, as well as places and vehicles related to transport by water, road, rail and air.
It is published by the Danube University Krems, which houses the awards archives, in partnership with Europa Nostra’s Industrial and Engineering Heritage Committee.
Europa Nostra runs the European Heritage Awards / Europa Nostra Awards in cooperation with the European Commission and with the support of the Creative Europe programme of the European Union.
